Education Abroad Scholarships

Application deadline: January 13 at 4 p.m.

The College of Arts and Sciences offers need-based scholarships for undergraduate students who are pursuing any arts and sciences major, as well as scholarships for students majoring in the humanities and in the arts.

Volunteer as an HIV/STI Test Counselor with the Student Life Student Wellness Center

HIV/STI Test Counselors in the Student Life Student Wellness Center administer STI testing, offer risk reduction counseling and support clients in preparing for the result and possible treatment options. Ideal candidates are open-minded, non-judgmental, friendly, and reliable. This is a volunteer position with a minimum commitment of two hours a week, in addition to monthly professional development and outreach events on campus. Join ASC Career Success for an informal discussion with Arts and Sciences alumnus Russ Jipson (Criminology, '05) about the path he has taken to arrive where he is in his career. Russ currently works for Quantum Health as Manager of Talent Acquisition. In his role Russ oversees the recruiting function along with three other recruiters for the company and helps with any staffing needs the company may have.

Summer Internship Opportunities at Camp Akeela

Camp Akeela is a traditional summer camp with locations in Vermont and Wisconsin for kids who have been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome or a non-verbal learning disorder. They are entering their hiring season for summer 2020 and are looking for energetic young people to work at camp this summer.
